We are not here to put you on a crash diet - not at all. They may help you lose some weight temporarily, but they don’t target what is typically driving long-term weight gain: metabolic imbalance from poor nutrition.

We are here to support you to learn how to eat healthy step by step and for good. You will slowly and consistently improve your nutrition to a healthy diet that fits your lifestyle. This will improve your body’s ability to function, and weight loss will occur as a result.

We will inspire you to turn your favorite meals into healthy dishes with small changes. So you eat what you love while taking care of your health and fitness.

How to turn a burger into a healthy burger?

Only three simple changes are required.

  1. The bun. Often, burger buns are made from processed flour and are high in calories. This type of carbohydrate spikes your blood sugar, causes inflammation, and increases cravings and hunger. Swap the bun with a lower calorie, high fiber, bun. This feeds your gut, stabilizes your blood sugar, and helps you to fight cravings.
  2. The patty. Most patties contain 80% protein and 20% fat. Instead, use a patty that is 90% protein and 10% fat. Protein is much more filling than fat and carbohydrates. The same sized patty made with a leaner cut of beef will be more filling. We add baking soda to the outside of the patties to keep them moist. Baking soda changes the pH of the meat, allowing it to hold more moisture and keep it tender. However, fats are not the enemy.
  3. The side. Pair your burger with a veggie and heart healthy fat. Sides can either enhance nutritional value or hinder it. To enhance, pick your favorite vegetable and prepare it with a heart healthy fat, like olive oil. The focus is the burger, so lets support it with healthy sides!

These three simple changes ensure the meal will properly fill you up, keep your blood sugar stable, feed your gut, and tend to your heart and mind. This is just one example of many you will find in the program. Don’t give up foods you love, like a good burger. Instead, learn how to properly prepare them in a manner that keeps your mind happy and body healthy.
