We have an amazing team of IT developers working hard every day to make sure our products run smoothly. However, if they don't here are some simple tricks that often help:

- Refresh your app by dragging the image all the way down with your finger.
- Delete and reinstall the app.

What can I do if the app freezes or crashes?

Our app is currently available for Android and iOS devices.

- To use LeanOnMe on Android devices, you need Android version 8.0.0 or higher.
- To use LeanOnMe on iOS devices, you need an iPhone 6s (or newer) with iOS version 15.0 or higher.
- For optimal performance, your device should also have at least 600MB of free storage space.

Our app is not available for Windows phones/tablets, Chromebooks, Kindle or desktops.

How secure is my information?

- The program builds up step by step and develops together with you.
- It doesn't matter if you use all parts of the program or select individual features that suit you. It's up to you.
- The weekly dashboard gives you an overview from which you can access sections of the app. Reflections shows you your progress over the last weeks.
- The nutrition, physical activity and psychology features are unlocked step by step as you click through the app. After the 14-day free trial, new content will be unlocked for you, week by week.
- You develop your own goals and follow the program step by step, at your own pace.
- Support Groups: Everyone works better together. In your LeanOnMe Support Groups, you meet people with similar challenges and goals. Support each other - guiding and supporting others will also make your journey easier.

How does the LeanOnMe program work?

Long-term behavior change for a healthier life takes time. We know that! That's why we don't tempt you with quick wins but provide an environment in which you can develop and achieve long-term goals. You should commit to at least six months. Ideally, LeanOnMe will be with you for 12 months or more.

How long does the program take?

- You can use LeanOnMe if you are at least 18 years old.
- If you want to change your eating habits and lead a better lifestyle, LeanOnMe is for you.
- Your BMI is between 25 and 40.
- There are no contraindications according to the intake questionnaire.
- If you are unsure whether LeanOnMe is the right program for you due to your health condition, please consult your doctor to be sure.

LeanOnMe offers a unique, holistic concept based on the latest scientific findings. It covers the areas of psychology, nutrition and exercise. The goal is a long-term lifestyle change. LeanOnMe also offers members the opportunity to meet in omline support groups to experience extensive support.

Does LeanOnMe involve psychotherapy?

By level 3 of our Psychology stream, you will have the foundations you need to unlock the Community stream. The support group feature is a Premium feature, and you will need to be a member - have a subscription - in order to use it. This is because we want to be sure that you are serious about the program before we include you in a group, since members leaving is disruptive to the other members.

Once a week, you can meet in a small group of nine people in a live Zoom call. These groups are for sharing thoughts and experiences on various topics.

We provide guidance in the form of recorded prompts and discussion points, but the groups are self-moderating.

How does the LeanOnMe support group work?

The exercises help you to implement the knowledge you have gained in your everyday life. They include mindfulness techniques and exercises where you reflect on situations and your own behavior and write down your thoughts about them. This is to help bring insight and awareness. There are exercises that you do in your everyday life to practice new behaviors and establish healthy habits. These are small but very effective, easy-to-perform exercises, such as eating at least one meal a day in peace, and sitting down.

What do the exercises in the Psychology stream cover?

The Psychology features and themes are based on approaches from cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, mindfulness therapy, and years of clinical experience. We offer a variety of tools to help you beat cravings, eat better, and feel better. New content is made available to you every week. The articles are informative and thought-provoking, and you will receive a weekly task in which you can practice what you have learned.

What is the Psychology stream based on?

A Buddy is someone who has developed a close, honest, and trusting bond with you. This could be a good friend, a brother or sister, or perhaps a roommate. It is helpful to have a Buddy by your side who will listen to you and support you on your journey.

Motivation can be difficult to sustain. So at some point, you will need another person to help you keep on track. Your Buddy can offer a helping hand. Research shows having someone to support you can make a major difference in successfully reaching your goals.
